  1. cold的基本意思是“冷的,寒冷的”,指以体温为标准而感到外界的气温低,常用于指温度或天气。在表示人的感情时还可指“冷淡的,不热情的”,指对某人或某物感到漠不关心,此时多用作定语。
  2. be cold用作谓语时,后面可接动词的现在分词形式。
n. (名词)
  1. cold作名词时有二个意思:一是指相对于身体的温度来说,温度较低,使人感到冷,即“冷,寒冷”; 二是指由于天气寒冷而引起的“伤风,感冒”。
