  1. dispute的基本意思是“辩论,争论”,表示激烈地争论以求说服别人。引申可表示“怀疑真实性或妥当性”。
  2. dispute可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,可接名词、代词、带疑问词的动词不定式或从句作宾语。
  3. dispute用作不及物动词时,其后接介词with时,表示“与某人争论”; 后接介词about, on〔upon〕或over时,表示“争论某事”。
