  1. film用作名词的基本意思是“影片,电影”,还可表示用来拍照的“胶片,胶卷”。引申可表示“薄层,薄膜”。
  2. film作“影片,电影”解是可数名词,有时可用作定语; 作“胶片,胶卷”解时,既可用作可数名词,也可用作不可数名词; 作“薄层,薄膜”解是不可数名词,但其前可用不定冠词修饰,常与of连用。
  3. be〔work〕 in films的意思是“从事电影工作”; go to the films的意思是“去看电影”; get on the films的意思是“上银幕”或“踏入电影界”。这几个短语中都要用复数形式films。
