- hope所接的that从句中的谓语多由will〔may〕+ v.
注意can't but hope的意思是“只能希望”。
- be beyond〔past〕 hope的意思是“(成功、痊愈等)毫无希望”; build up〔raise〕 sb's hopes的意思是“使某人抱有希望”; hold out hope的意思是“(对…) 希望”; in the hope of sth/ v -ing/that-clause的意思是“怀着…
- 可以说in the hope of,也可说in hopes of; 可以说in the hope that,也可说in hopes that。
- hope, desire, want, wish
-
- 2.desire, wish和hope后均可接从句或不定式作宾语; wish和desire后接that从句一般用虚拟语气; desire和wish后可接复合宾语; hope用作不及物动词时常接of, for引起的短语。
- hope, expect
-
-
- I don't hope that he will come tomorrow.
- I hope that he will not come tomorrow.
- hope for, hope of
-
- 2.of后可接 v -ing,而for不可。
- desire,wish,hope,expect,want,long
-
