  3. look用作及物动词时主要作“注视”解,引申还可作“留心”“注意”“期望”解,其后可接动词不定式、疑问词引导的从句作宾语。可用于祈使句。
  4. look还可用作系动词,其后可接(to be+) n./adj. / v -ed/ prep. -phrase或as if引起的从句作表语,意思是“看起来…”。
  5. look作“留心”“注意”解时,常用于look (to it)结构,其后接that从句充当it的同位语。
