  1. mad用来形容人的精神状态时意思是“疯了的”“发疯的”“神经错乱的”。表示人的情绪变化时意思是“恼火的”“发怒的”,此时只用作表语。在表示人对工作等的态度时意思是“狂热的”“着迷的”。表示某人做错了某事时意思是“愚蠢的”“疯狂的”。
  2. mad 作“狂热的”“着迷的”解时其后可接介词about, on或for; 作“发怒的”解时表示对某人发怒接at或with,表示发怒的原因则常接at或for。
  3. mad在句中作表语时,其后有时可接动词不定式、现在分词。
  4. mad的比较级为madder,最高级为maddest。
