- nose的基本意思是“鼻子”,指嗅觉器官,也可指“似鼻子的东西”,如汽车头、飞机头等。nose还可指一个人或动物对气味的感知能力,即“嗅觉”。
- nose作“鼻子”“鼻状物”解时是可数名词,指“嗅觉”时是单数名词,其前多加不定冠词a。
- 在表示“牵着某人的鼻子走”时,一般不说lead sb's nose或lead sb by sb's nose,而说lead sb by the nose。
