n. (名词)
  1. notice的基本意思是“布告,通告,启示”,指用以宣传某事的发生或传达某种指示的通知。也可指“预告,通知”,即告诉某人某事即将发生。notice还可指提醒某人对某事引起“注意”。引申可指“评价,短评”。
  2. give notice和have notice中的notice,通常指离职、辞职或解雇等的“通知”,当have notice和give notice后面带有动词不定式时, notice前有时可加不定冠词a。
  3. notice后也可接that引起的从句作同位语、现在分词或动词不定式作其后置定语。
v. (动词)
  1. notice用作动词的意思是“注意”,指将精力全部集中在某一个人或事上,或者看到了某一事件发生的全过程并且对此表示关心。
  2. notice可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,后可接名词、代词、带有疑问词的动词不定式或that/wh-从句作宾语,还可接以不带to的动词不定式、现在分词或过去分词充当补足语的复合宾语。可用于被动结构。
  1. notice作名词表示“通知”时，短语at short notice中的at在美式英语中可用on代替；
  2. give notice或have notice一般指离职或迁让的通知：当后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠词a。give notice后面也可跟that从句。

    He gave me a notice to leave by the end of the week.

    The tenant gave notice that he was going to move on the first day of the next month.

  3. notice作动词时，后可跟不含to的不定式，但用在被动语态中时，不定式中一定要含to。

  4. notice后还可以跟现在分词，强调动作过程。
