用法讲解
- superior用作形容词时,本身含有“较”的意思,故不再有比较级或最高级形式,用“superior...to...”表示“两事物的比较”。
- 当superior用来形容人的时候,有讽刺意味,有“自以为了不起”的意思;
- 当superior形容物的时候,用于表示其“好质量”时,也是显得做作,使描述显得不可信;
- “比……强”要用superior to,而不能用superior than;
- superior和superiority后面都接to ,表示“……高于或好于……”,以A is superior to B和A's superiority to B的结构来表达。
