  1. active是由act派生的形容词,基本意思是“活泼的,活跃的,积极的”,可指人(尤指小孩或年轻人)活泼,活跃,也可指人积极地从事某项活动,引申可表示人的头脑灵活,做事情有效率,还可以表示“在活动中的”“在起作用的”“现行的”“现役的”。
  2. active在语法术语中可表示动词的主动形式。
  3. active在句中主要用作定语,可修饰的范围很广,可以是人,也可以是物; 可以是具体名词,也可以是抽象名词。active在句中还可用作表语,偶尔也可用作宾语补足语。
