  1. decent的基本意思是“相当不错的,像样的,尚好的”,可修饰具体的东西,也可以修饰抽象的事物,尤用于口语。decent也可用于形容人或人的言语或行为举止,意为“正派的,正经的,高雅的,严肃的,公平的,合乎礼节的”。decent还可用于表示某物、某事对特定场合下的某人“合宜的,得体的,适当的,适度的”。
