n. (名词)
  1. dream的基本意思是“梦”,指人在睡眠时在大脑中形成一种幻觉。dream还可指“梦想,理想”,指在人的头脑中形成的某种愿望; 用于口语中还可指梦一般美好的人或物,即“好极了,太美了”。引申可指“幻想”。
  2. dream通常指一个一个的梦,而不可以表示梦的总称。
  3. 作“梦想”解时可用于“dream of+ v -ing”结构。
v. (动词)
  1. dream作动词时的意思是“做梦”,指睡眠时脑中出现某情景或观念。可指实际地做梦,也可指脑中产生不切实际的想法,即“梦想”。
  2. dream可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时后接名词、代词、同源名词、带有疑问词的动词不定式或that/wh-从句作宾语,从句中的that可以省略,从句中的谓语动词可用虚拟语气。
