v. (动词)
  1. express的基本意思是“把在里面的东西向外挤压”,即“表露”。不仅可以用于思想和感情的流露,也可用于经历、观念、个性等方面的表露,表露的方法可用语言、手势、动作、身体姿势、面部表情等,也可用绘画、音乐、舞蹈等艺术手法。
  2. express是及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语。在否定句中,意即“无法表达…”,可接疑问词引导的从句。
  3. express的主语是人时,可接表达感情或想法的词作宾语,也可接符号或方程式来表示量或数量问题。
  4. express还可用表示想法或感情的词作主语,这时与以人作主语的句子结构相同,意思上也无差别。
  5. express偶尔可用于被动结构。
  6. express宾语后接from或out of,是正式用语,表示“从…中榨出”,接to表示“向…表达”,接in表示“以…表达”。
  7. express还可接反身代词作宾语,表示“表达自己的意思〔情感〕”。
  8. express还可作“将…作为邮政快件寄出”解,作此解时,主要用于英式英语。
