adj.
  4. fond常用于肯定句中,可加very, awfully, enthusiastically, exceedingly, passionately等副词修饰,以加强语气,但前面不可加much或very much修饰。
adj.
fond, glad
  • They are fond of playing volleyball.
  • I am glad to play volleyball this afternoon.
  • fond, devoted
  • The couple, who were nothing more than fond of each other when they first got married, have now grown into devoted lovers.
