v. (动词)
  1. forbid的基本意思是禁止某人进入某地、用某物或做某事。可用于权威人士(如家长、主人、医生)发布的命令,也可用于所处的情况要求绝对禁止。
  2. forbid是及物动词,接名词、代词、动名词或that从句作宾语。that从句中谓语动词须用虚拟式。forbid后面作宾语的动名词可带物主代词或代〔名〕词宾格,表示动名词的逻辑主语。
  3. forbid在表示“禁止进入某地”或“禁止用某物”时可接双宾语,以表示某地的名词或use作直接宾语,其间接宾语可转化为介词to的宾语。
  4. forbid在表示“禁止某人做某事”时可接以动词不定式充当补足语的复合宾语。
  5. forbid的过去式是forbade或forbad,过去分词是forbidden。
