  1. guide的基本意思是“指路,引路”“引导,指导”,指熟悉道路的向导或懂得如何避开险阻的人指引另一人如何到达某地或如何做好某件事情,也可指借助于某物(如信号、灯光等)来防止走弯路或误入歧途,引申可表示“教导”“辅导”。
  2. guide还可作“操纵”“驾驶”解,引申可表示“影响”“支配”,常用于被动结构。
  3. guide是及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语,可用于被动结构。
  4. 说“引导某人做某事”时guide后不接动词不定式,而接“in+ v -ing”。
