- steer的基本意思是“驾驶(车、船)”“掌握方向”“使…开往…”,指能够控制决定路线和方向的机械装置的人所给予的指引。主语通常是人。宾语通常是车、船,引申还可表示“指导”“引导”,宾语可以是人也可以是物。
- steer也可以车、船等作主语,这时主动形式表示被动意义。
- steer可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。用作及物动词时,接名词或代词作宾语。
