  1. install的基本意思是“安装”,指安装某种设备,以备使用。引申可作“安顿,安置”解,属非正式用法。
  2. install也可表示“通过仪式使某人正式就职”。
  3. install是及物动词,接名词或代词作宾语,也可接以as短语或介词短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
  4. install是英式拼法,美式拼法是instal。
