v. (动词)
  1. offer的基本意思是“主动拿出”,可指主动提供某事物供考虑、接受或拒绝,或为某物出价,也可指主动提出建议、意见等。还可表示“主动做(某事)”。
  2. offer作“动提供,主动提出; 出价”解时,用作及物动词时,接名词、代词或动词不定式作宾语,也可接双宾语,其间接宾语可以转化为介词to的宾语, offer有时还可接以as短语充当补足语的复合宾语,此时的宾语通常为反身代词。
  3. offer作“表示愿意”解时,既可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。 用作及物动词时,通常只接动词不定式作宾语。
  4. offer也可表示“发生,出现,呈现”,用作不及物动词; 还可表示“为(某事物)提供机会”“给予”,用作及物动词。
  5. offer有时还可用来引出直接引语表示“自告奋勇地说”。
