v. (动词)
  1. wonder的基本意思是“对…感到疑惑”,常指自然界或艺术上的宏伟或新颖、奇特的事物使人惊讶、困惑。wonder也常常表示“想知道”“问自己”,指考虑某事,并且努力猜想,以求对其多了解一些。
  2. wonder与whether〔if〕连用时,表示“思考某事,并设法判断该事是否属实”,也可表示一种委婉的请求或邀请。
  3. wonder既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,可接带疑问词的动词不定式以及由that/wh-/if引导的从句作宾语; 用作不及物动词时,常与介词about, at连用。
  4. wonder是表示愿望的动词,通常不用于进行体。只有在表示语气婉转时才可用现在进行时,但意义不是“正在想知道”。
