  1. young的基本意思是“年轻的,年幼的,幼小的,新发展的”,指某人或某物处于一种不成熟的或萌芽的状态。用于比喻可指“有朝气的,有青春活力的”。
  2. young可用作表语,也可用作定语。用作定语时后可修饰人或物; 用作表语时可接介词短语或动词不定式。
  3. young通常只能用来修饰作“时代”讲的age,不能修饰作“年龄”讲的age。
