  1. excite的基本意思是刺激某人使之激动或激励某人做某事,强调激动的强烈程度和激励的巨大作用。
  2. excite用作及物动词时,可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语,也可接以动词不定式或以介词to引导的短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
  3. excite常用于be ~ed结构,其后可接现在分词或动词不定式短语,还常接at, about 表示“激动”或“兴奋”的原因。
