- incline用作及物动词时,可表示“低下来,弯下来”。
- incline用作不及物动词时,可表示“倾斜,倾向于,偏向于,偏于,常常容易”等意思,后面可接介词短语; 后直接接动词不定式很少见。
- incline还可表示“倾向于(某种观点、说法等),常常,愿意”等意思。此时一般以人作主语,常用于系表结构。
