  1. concede的基本意思是“出让”,指迫于要求或要求者的压力,勉强同意给予某种特权、所有权或权力。引申可表示“承认”,指勉强承认某事是真的或正确的,也指在结果确定前承认失败。
  2. concede作“承认”解时,可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词,后可接名词、代词或名词从句作宾语,也可接由as短语充当补足语的复合宾语。
  3. concede作“出让”解时,可按双宾语,其间接宾语可以转化为介词to的宾语。
