  1. dominate的基本意思是“控制”,指在能力、影响、职位或级别上高的人对相对低的人以任何方式进行统治或起支配作用。
  2. dominate既可用作及物动词,也可用作不及物动词。作及物动词时,多接由名词或代词充当的简单宾语。用作不及物动词时,后面常接介词over。
