v. (动词)
  1. oblige的基本意思是“在武力或法律的制约下不得不做某事”。引申可表示“答应请求”“施惠于”,在表示此义时, oblige只指小事情,不指大事情,施惠的具体内容用by doing sth 或with sth 来表示。
  2. oblige可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,可接名词、代词作宾语,还可接以动词不定式充当宾语的复合结构。
  3. oblige可用于被动结构。
